Bay Area Engagement, wedding, couples, maternity Photographer
Hey! I'm so glad we found each other

I'm Jennifer - a couples photographer based in the SF Bay Area

I pinch myself everyday that I'm lucky enough to own my dream business. I was always the creative kid who liked to draw and played instruments (piano & flute, if you're curious), but those mediums never felt just right. It wasn't until I picked up a camera at the age of 12 that I knew what I wanted to do. To this day, whenever I pick up a camera and start photographing my couples, I get an overwhelming feeling that this is what I'm MEANT to do.

I'm more than a couples photographer! Here's some fun facts about me to prove it-

  • I'm a huge dog-lover and all around animal lover

  • I make the best avocado toast in the world (the secret is pesto)

  • I've been in a relationship for 7 years now, we're high school sweethearts :)

  • I used to be a henna tattoo artist, & still love to do it occasionally!
  • I can (and often do) quote any line from the TV show Friends

  • I'm a BIG dark chocolate enthusiast

  • I absolutely love traveling, and have been to over 10 countries! Would love to go to more though, so don't be shy - fly me out to photograph you & your lover at all your dream destinations!
  • I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in cinematography

  • I have a very chilled out, easy-going personality, but I'm secretly type A - I love efficiency, organization, and getting things DONE

  • I was born & raised in the Bay Area - Concord to be exact!

my story

I fell in love with photography at the age of 12

When I was in middle school, my family took a trip to South Africa to visit our family friends who used to be our next-door neighbors (random, right?). My mom bought a new camera for the trip, and she handed it to me. She said she wanted to be present for the safaris, so I could take the photos if I wanted. We saw incredible animals on the safari, from a herd of 40+ elephants to lion clubs wrestling around. It was truly some of the best moments of my life, but what's crazy is I had just as much if not MORE fun playing around with the camera & taking pictures of the amazing animals as I did actually seeing these wonderful things in person. Since then I always said I wanted to be a photographer!

I wouldn't have it any other way

Engagement + Wedding photography is now my specialty

As you can see, I didn't start my photography journey by immediately photographing couples. After my trip to Africa, I photographed anything I could. My dogs, my friends - I swear I even remember taking a Barbie doll and posing it for photos around my grandma's house. But it wasn't until I got to college that I started taking photography seriously. I wanted to choose a career path that would make me truly happy and fulfilled, and I knew photography would do just that. I started my business at the age of 19, and haven't looked back since. After lots of grad photos, family photos, and more, I finally photographed my first couple. I instantly knew this was the right kind of photography for me - I'm such a sappy romantic and lover of all things LOVE. It was the perfect fit!
